Mercado accionario de Mexico se ubica entre los l?deres en rendimientos en econom?as emergentes: GBM
Ciudad de México, a 08 de julio de 2024.– Las empresas listadas en la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) vieron un incremento del 44% en cuanto a capitalización de mercado y un crecimiento del 66% [1] cuando se ajusta por dividendos durante el periodo de 2018 a 2023 de acuerdo con un análisis realizado por especialistas de Grupo Bursátil Mexicano (GBM).
El crecimiento de 66% en rendimientos durante el periodo señalado coloca al mercado mexicano solo por detrás de Taiwán (139.3%) e India (93.9%) en economías emergentes y en primera posición en toda Latinoamérica.
“Las empresas mexicanas que están listadas en la BMV son un grupo selecto que ha pasado por diferentes contextos políticos y de mercado a lo largo de su existencia y que ha sabido evolucionar de tal forma que muchas de ellas son líderes en sus respectivas industrias, incluso en un contexto de globalización”, comentó Javier Gayol, VP Director de GBM Research.
De igual forma, las empresas mexicanas dentro de este grupo vieron un crecimiento del 36% en ventas y de 34% en EBITDA (acrónimo en inglés para resultados financieros antes de intereses, impuestos, depreciaciones y amortizaciones) durante el periodo de 2018 a 2023.
Por otro lado, dentro del contexto postelectoral de México, el equipo de análisis de GBM señala que el sector de consumo tiene grandes posibilidades de seguir manteniendo una dinámica fuerte.
“La continuación de apuestas a políticas que favorezcan los apoyos sociales de un segmento importante de la población mexicana, aunado a que la depreciación del peso frente al dólar seguirá fortaleciendo el capital de remesas en el país, nos dan indicios de que el mercado accionario del sector consumo mantendrá una inercia positiva”, agregó Gayol.
De manera general, el equipo de análisis de GBM señala que, en un contexto de volatilidad para la moneda nacional, empresas con costos en pesos, pero con fuentes de ingresos principalmente en dólares, como pueden ser aquellas dentro del creciente sector de bienes raíces industriales, apuntan a tener oportunidades de crecimiento importante.
Sobre la caída de acciones en el sector financiero después de las elecciones federales de México (la cual hasta mediados de junio era en algunos casos de hasta cerca del 25%), GBM señala que ha habido una sobrerreacción por parte del mercado en las últimas semanas y que inversionistas deben guiarse por anuncios a posibles cambios regulatorios de fuentes oficiales.
