Si la empresa se decanta por esta opción, Adidas también se vería afectada por un beneficio de 500 millones de euros este año y un coste extraordinario adicional de 200 millones de euros, con lo que las pérdidas operativas previstas para 2023 ascenderían a 700 millones de euros, unos 750 millones de dólares al tipo de cambio actual.

La pérdida anual de beneficios sería la primera de Adidas en 31 años, según el Financial Times.

"Las cifras hablan por sí solas. En la actualidad no estamos rindiendo como deberíamos", afirmó en un comunicado el consejero delegado de Adidas, Bjørn Gulden.
