Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls made a winning start to their campaign in Group “C” at the 2019 INF Netball World Cup in Liverpool, England, hammering Fiji 85-29 on Friday. The Sunshine Girls held quarterly leads of 19-8; 49-14 and 67-18. Captain Jhaniele Fowler led the scoring for Jamaica with 33 goals from 35 attempts, while Romelda Aiken had 26 from 36, Rebekah Robinson 15 from 17 and Shanice Beckford 11 from 13.

Goal Attack Unaisi Rauluni had 10 goals from 13 attempts for Fiji. The Sunshine Girls will next face Caribbean rivals Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday at 5:00 pm Jamaica time.
